AAI SHRI KHODIYAR GAUSEVA AND VIDYANIKETAN TRUST Establishment Aai Shri Khodiyar Gau – Sewa and Vidya Niketan Trust was establishe by the leading citizens, in the year 1994, with the prime objective of INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT of Rajkot District. The Chairman and Trustees are well qualified and persons of repute in their fields and in social service too. Infrastructure 28 Km long roads were constructed under the Trust Supervision from MPLADS at a cost of Rs. 1,26,49,326/- by the PWD Dept. of State of Gujarat. Rural Development The Trust undertook rehabilitation of village, KOTDA NAYANI – Wankaner Taluka By constructing 60 houses and anciliary facilities of roads, drinking water, sanitation. The Trust constructed 4 Primary Schools in the villages of Wankaner Taluka. The Trust constructed 27 water Troughs for cattle of 27 villages for Animal Drinking water facility. The Trust Constructed Drinking water infrastructre, water tank, pipeline, Borewell, Water Sump, drainage and all needed for providing drinking water under Govt. of India’s schemes of SECTOR REFORM. Medical care / Health The Trust caters to the need of 42 villages, by providing a Medical Mobile Van. 8 Doctors used to visit in evening hours, respective villages by turn. Free medicines used to be distributed to needy patients. Agriculture – Drinking Water Under KAPART Schemes, deepning of Lakes in 4 villages, for irrigation facilities of those villages. 19 villages were covered under safe Drinking Water Project at a cost of more than Rs. 3 crores, by Govt. Grant. Own Building The Trust has constructed its own building at cost of Rs. 16,00,000/- in the heart of the town area having an office, Meeting hall, Library hall, guest house and an open terrace of 1200 sq. ft. Regular activities of the Trust are being run from this place.
