Major Activities and Achivements
Society is actively involved in helping school children of rural/ village areas through various means such as providing school bags, uniforms etc..Encouraging them not to leave schools and creating awareness in parents about education. We have adopted few schools in Agra District. We are also taking up issues with administration such as providing adequate no of teachers. We are trying to arrange for proper drinking water, furnitures, buildings etc in these schools so that children do not leave these schools for want of basic infrastructure. We are encouraging young talents in city by providing them various awards. We have been organising various Kavi Sammelans / seminars/workshop for creating awareness for stopping female foeticide, encouraging women education and empowerment etc. We have also taking up issues of Kargil Shaheeds families in Agra through various programmes. We are also taking active part in creating awareness with respect to conservation of water, Save Yamuna Compaign etc.
