Adarsh Mahila Silp Kala Kendra has implemented various programme and activities successfully for welfare and development of downtrodden, weaker section of society. As a Mother NGO organisation has conducted Reproductive and Child Health (R.C.H.) programme in Khagaria and Saharsa district through field N.G.O. with the financial assistance of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, in which after survey of eligible couple, services o safe delivery, services to pregnant women, services for immunisation of child, training of adolescents on sexual health, provided and health camps, awareness meeting regarding marriage and birth at right time for girl child were organised with the encouragement of family planning method and small family norms. Organisation is being implemented targeted intervention project in Samastipur district among Female Sex Worker and man having sex with man for prevention and control of HIV/AIDS with the financial assistance of Bihar State AIDS Control Society, Patna (NACO) from 2005. As a mother NGO organisation has successfully conducted information education and communication scheme of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy in Khagaria and Saharasa district through field NGO with the financial assistance of Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, in which training of workshop of I.S.M.&H. practitioner, training of farmers for cultivation of medicinal plants, community awareness meetings, yoga classes in primary school and Health Mela through I.S.M.&H. treatment were organised. Organisation successfully implemented vocational training of youth women for self employment & self dependence with the financial assistance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India in which 40 women and girl were benefited. Beside it organisation conducted awareness camps on yoga, self employment programme, AIDS awareness, Drugs eradication, self help group, women upliftment, environment purification, cultivation of medicinal plants, pulse-polio, consumer protection, pollution control, flood and rehabilitation, horticulture development programme, Panchayati Raj, Literacy programme, Disaster Management, Youth affairs & sports, Dowry system, Women and Child Labour Welfare, Family Planning, Food Nutrition, Leprosy, Self employment programme, protection of folk culture, unemployment eradication through own resources. Organisation conducted vocational training programme for youth for self employment & self dependence in toy making, bangle making, embroidery & patch work, sewing & knitting, Mithila painting and computer training with own contribution in which 294 youth male & female benefited. Organisation also conducted Balwadi Programme in which child of weaker section family were benefited. Organisation has set up well furnished infrastructure with own land & building with fixed assets of Rs. 12 lacs 75 thousand only.
