Major Activities and Achivements

We have been raising resources to provide a safe and secure environment for children and aged people and provide relief to them through various interventions. Child kidnapping usually ends badly. Each year, thousands of children are abducted of which half of them are never found. Those abducted children that are eventually recovered suffer from emotional scars lifelong. Child trafficking is one of the largest profitable industry of the world. Children are abducted for ransom, sexual exploitation, forced labour, organ trade, to be used as beggars, trafficking across international borders and more. Kids can learn to be safe and careful of strangers. They can learn to protect themselves (Swaraksha) from strangers. We attempt to teach children safety by organising “Swaraksha” camps. These camps make children aware of stranger danger and teach them how to be safe and careful of strangers. Swaraksha camps are organized by A4 workers in schools, community centers and local areas. These camps educate kids about strangers, common lures used by strangers, concept of safe strangers like police officers, teachers, people in office buildings, and mothers with children from whom they can take help, importance of walking in groups and being together. Children are made to practice screaming for help. They are also made to remember their name and address, and contact phone numbers. They are made to practice dialing their parents phone and 100. Emergency ID cards can prevent a bad situation from getting worse. An unexpected emergency can shatter any family at any time, but an Emergency ID card ensures that everyone is better prepared if a crisis strikes.A4 is providing EIds to all.
