The Government of India’s National Commission for Women honoured Arpana in 2002 as one of the ten organisations in the country for their work to empower women. 3. The Government of Haryana has given several state awards to Arpana for Family Planning and Eye Programmes over the years. 4. The Himotkarsh National Integration award was conferred on Arpana in 2000 and 2001 for Health and Socio-economic programmes in Himachal Pradesh. 5. National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists, Karnal, felicitated Arpana for its work in Medical Services.
