AchieveMents: AIDRC is dedicated to meet the emerging need in the developmental sector having tripartite functions of training, research and services in the field of Disability Rehabilitation Education, Health and through its service units. It is a developmental organization on national repute and progressing towards making striking advances in building capacities to empower underprivileged section society of North East region. To do all Social Welfare activities including Disability Rehabilitation, Public Health, Education, Livelihood Programme and other development works in the North East Region with a vision to emerge as the Nerve Centre in North East region with multi-dimensional activities, with the objective to explore and develop to the fullest, the potential that lies in each individual with special needs and other marginalized groups to bring them to the mainstream of the society. It extend services for Healthcare, Education, Adult Literacy, Youth Welfare & Leadership, Environment, Drinking Water, Sanitation, Employment, Economic Development, Women & Child Development, Community Development and Livelihood, Agriculture initiatives including Medicinal Plants for weaker section, Orientation Programmes, Seminars, Conferences, Symposia, Workshops in developmental areas i.e. (Education, Health, Disability Rehabilitation, Community Development and Livelihoods) and Communal Harmony and National Integrity , develop Primary Health Care Centers, Clinics, Dispensary, Hospitals, Mobile Hospitals, Mobile Rehabilitation Clinic, Vocational Training Center, Outpatient Department Clinic, Therapeutic Clinic, Advocacy Center, Community Based Rehabilitation Center and Other Skill Enhancement-Training Center for the purpose of improving Health, Education, Training & Employment for all types of Persons with Disabilities, Communities, Other marginalized and Weaker Section of society to promote better Health Care Services for marginalized and needy people of the society. It also extent to service legal literacy camp on existing laws of the lands of Child Welfare activities in the line of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Act, 2006.
