AchieveMents: Calcutta Bahari is a well known leading theatre & cultural, social development organization. Through out this period group has produced 26 fulllenghth drama and have performed 360 shows in different stages of Bengal as well as India. Group generly perform 25 shows annully. That includes several one act plays & street shows.We also working among rural urban areas, Landless peasants, marginal farmers, share coppers, distitute womens, poor children, labour-class areas to create awarness among social economic development through differnt NGOs of Govt. of India and Govt. of West Bengal.
SEMINAR & SYMPOSIUM : It has been organized in renowed auditorium, schools, colleges, market, rural area & other important location of various social & cultural issues in the field of Comunal harmony, crisis of modern theatre, folk & rural and tribal art,
RESEARCH WORK :
A research work on lyrical theatre is going on directed by Sri Anupam Roy, also doing research work on tribal & traditional rural folk arts fordevelopment, preservation, mordanise in the purose of folk theatre.
AWARDS :
Bahari has received RANGAKAL award 2005 for the drama RAMRAMA RANGALILA which is running for last14 years.Also received best production of the Year 2008 given by ANUBHAB NATYA SANGSTHA for drama ARSHI.
IN HOUSE WORKSHOP :
It has been organizing since last 8 years by renowned & reputed theatre personalities and senior member & Guru.
Also we had conducted workshop & production participated and performed by the school students, street child and slum children.
REMARKABLE PRODUCTION & INVITIONS:
RARAMA RANGALILA, MEHEJAN, ASHMAPTA ADHYAY, ANCHAL,DUI KADA etc. Kolkata Dooradarshan telecated documentary performance of lyrical theatre along with an interview of the director. Full length drama MEHERJAAN telecasted by Kolkata Dooradarshan and HATHAT DEKHA of Tagore. Audio drama ANCHAL boradcated from AIR Kolkata KA.Natya Mela of Govt. of West Bengal, Rabindra Jayanti, Vidyasagar Meal, Purulia Zella Utsab, Srijan Utsab - tribal & Folk. Participated in World leteracy Day, International Womens Festival in Kolkata, Ganga Jamuna Internatiional Festuval in Kolkata. Different Autumns Festivals in NEW DELHI, MOMBAI & HYDRABAD. Group has already achieved a few musical insturments, theatrical equipments and essential material for office work. The group has geared up talented full time theatre performers and Workers. Also proviedes them a little remuneratiion.

In different occaddion Bahari organized felicitation programme in their differnt festivalsto the emiment personalities of the society.
