AchieveMents: Major Activities and Achievements •Facilitated a Personal Relation ship centers at the government hospitals for easing the process of delivering medial certificate to the persons with disabil-ities. •Initiated Grievance Help Desk Centers for forwarding grievance of the persons with disabilities to the district collector for perusal. •Organized workshop with APIDC, chairman to provide opportunities of jobs in private and corporate sectors. •200 land and houses have been sanctioned for the persons with disabilities in Kandi Village of Sanga Reddy through constant lobby with the officials and the Honorable Chief Minister of the State. •30 Residential Quarters for the Persons with disabilities, running telephone boots on pavements, has been sanctioned under VAMBY schemes of the gov-ernment at Sherilingampally through constant advocacy and lobby with the Member of Parliament, Secunderabad constituency and Municipal Corpora-tion authorities. •150 Tri-cycles and wheel chairs have been distributed with the support of LANCO LIGHT Trust to the PWDs.•Established Vocational Training Center for women with disability grossly benefited 350 women. •Organized a District Level Sports meet for the Persons with disabilities, to mark the occasion of International Disabled Day. 280 persons with disabilities have been participated. •Facilitated and performed Inter-Caste, Inter-Disability marriages of 37 poor couples.  •Organized a Human Chain involving 1116 in Medak, Ranga Reddy and Khamam District for campaigning on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the occasion of International Human Rights day. •Organized 300 Persons with disabilities from 2 districts to participation in a CHALO DELHI CAMPAIGN, for giving representation to the government on effective implementation of the PWD Act. •Organized rally and workshop with the Public Telephone Booth owners on the hike of Public call rates involving 1000 members. As a result the BSNL has withdrawn its  proposal to hike the rated of Public call booths. • 360 Unemployed youth suffering with various disabilities have been sup-ported to access livelihoods for enhancing their living standards. • Organized workshops and seminars on NREGA Act, Right to Information Act for the youth, public representatives and activists. •Provided educational support for the 45 students belonging to SC, ST and other poor families.
