AchieveMents: Harijan Mahila Evom Bal Vikash Sansthan has passed another colorful year of activities during 2008-2009 on the eve of new millenium, we convey our heartful thanks to all who cooperated with us for fulfillment of our plan and programme. The organization is a got registered group working for the socio-economic development of the weaker section of the people specially for the welfare of the most distressed and depressed women belonging to SCs, STs, Minorities and backward communities. It is a voluntary organization registered in 1988 under the Bihar societies Registration Act, 21, 1860. It is mainly organised and oriented for the welfare of target group belonging to women folk of most distressed communities through promotional, cultural economic and all round development. The women folk of the SCs, STs, Minorities and other Backward communities are deprived of human rights. They are neglected in all sphere of life such as education, health care, economic, social, cultural, political and administrative field. They survive amidst gender discrimination, exploitation, atrocities and violence. Their representation in nation building activites are for below expected level. If they are not placed in the society with dignity and honour no nation can prosper. The organization is therefore, committed to lunch different movements for the4 women folk for spread of education, economic empowerment establishment of political rights, accent to administration as decision talking authority, leadership and entrepreneurship development so that they can cater their problems being enriched with self esteem and confidence. Process of development is a very long term process. In spite of application of favorable and adequate inputs the result may not be positive always due to unfavorable circumstances. We know our limitations and our capability with our limit financial power we are trying our level best to set the thing on right track. In that
