MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
With support from CAPART, construction of 40 Nos. cello tube wells made in Mayurbhanj district for irrigation purpose. About 400 hector of land have been irrigated. More than 500 families are getting direct benefit out of this PC support program. The farmers have been practicing organic farming after getting training on vermicompost and SRI technology
Under FRP, supported by CARE-India, IMTS covered 3 GPs of GB Nagar block. Total 19Nos. Farmers clubs formed and grain bank for agricultural support provided to 1000 beneficiaries (small and marginal farmers). Total 100 Goats and 2500 chicks provided to women SHGs. Construction of 9 tube wells platform high raised those were existing in low line flood affected communities. Construction of 11Nos. Anganwadi Centres building, which is child friendly. Training on SHG management, record keeping, entrepreneurship development, Sabai products, First Aid & rescue, DRR & Climate change organized. Raw materials for puffed rice preparation sabai product making provided to 200 SHGs. 9Nos. of cello tube wells have been installed for minor irrigation purpose
With the support from CSWB, New Delhi, IMTS has implemented 10 nos of Rajiv Gandhi National Creches for the children of Working Mothers. 250Nos. of children are enrolled in both sexes & provided nursery education, health, nutrition & care.
Under CLAP 559 farmers cultivated medicinal plants in 50acres of land aims at livelihood promotion and income generation. The farmers have cultivated species like Tulsi, Asvagandha, Bacha, Venca Rosea, etc.
With the financial support from CARITAS India (Through FVTF) IMTS capacitated 70 No. of SC and ST women on VT for the Sabai & Dhokra trade
With the support from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India (through AKSS MNGO), IMTS has implemented 5 years RCH Programme at Baranga Block of Cuttack district of Orissa. Total 47376 people were involved in RCH program
Under the support from SEEDS USA, IMTS has implemented Micro Credit and SHG Promotion for 72 beneficiaries for socio-economic development
Under support from NORAD, Govt. of India, we have implemented Zaricraft and Patch Work training programme for 120Nos. women. This program has a good impact for the rural women for increase their socio economic development
