AchieveMents: Facilitating the pulse-polio movement : kcap has played an instrumental role in facilitating the implementation of UNICEF’s pulse polio program aimed at eradication of polio. We got the assignment of executing an issue-based publicity campaign in three districts of West Bengal viz. Birbhum, Murshidabad and Purba Medinipur. Children development workshop : We have always emanated our proclivity towards the health and environmental issues. in jharkhand and maheshtala of deoghar, we have conducted a series of workshops with the basic objective of improving the health status of the local children and adolescents. The primary segment encapsulated the children and the adolescents the secondary segment encompassed the parents of the children. Through the workshops the members of the secondary group were sensitized regarding the scientific techniques of child rearing which can play an important role in fostering the cognitive development, emotional maturity and physical well being of their offspring. Workshop for attitudinal engineering : We have executed customized workshops for the sex workers of Bangaon, Bashirhat and Matiya all in West Bengal with the basic objective of levitating their self-esteem. Experimental training on creativity : We are being driven by our indomitable spirit of engineering productive changes within the most impoverished human populace. In this process we have always endeavored to increase the potential elements within the young participants in different field of activities. Workshop on anti-trafficking : While conducting a workshop on strategies of trafficking prevention, at Bongohn, Swarupnagar, Sandeshkhali, Gaighata at North 24th Pargana and Mekhliguange at Kooch Bihar district all in West Bengal. The target audience encompassed the members of the local clubs. They requested us to float a theatrical production on trafficking, to make the common people sensitized regarding this delicate and sensitive social problem. Workshop against alcohol & drug abuse : Now let us enunciate another effort delivered by us to deploy the indomitable spirit of the poverty stricken people in the rural milieu. We took the initiative of executing an exhaustive and incisive awareness campaign against drug-abuse amidst different places including remote rural areas of West Bengal. Grants received : Received Production & Equipment Grant from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Seminar & awareness programme on Legal rights for women supported by national commission for women. Our other achievements : We participated in awareness campaign through theatre on AIDS with WBSAPCS, NACO, PSI, and other social organization. Besides we performed awareness shows on the occasion of World AIDS Day since 2002. We design awareness campaign through theatre on RCH, Food adulteration, Malaria with IEC Division. We are involved in the programme with West Bengal Pollution Control Board. Campaign on child protection & rights with Save the children, Don Bosco, Child Line, Grouppe Developpement. We are working with slum children of ‘Nabodisha’, a Kolkata Police project on children. We have since received a few prominent awards. It is our aim to achieve all-out social development including understanding the value of life, education with cultural upliftment that will ultimately make people happy and prosperous.
