AchieveMents: KUSUMA KALA SANGHA is located in a remote village, which is at a distance of just twenty three kilometers from Taluk Head Quarters namely Gubbi, the latter is a big and non-erasable name in history of Kannada Theatre, especially in Parsi Company style traditions. The inception of this cultural idiom i.e. KUSUMA KALA SANGHA emerged out of real zeal pertaining to protect and develop the rural aesthetic cense of Performing Arts. KUSUMA KALA SANGHA has "been working with the aforesaid motto since 1996 with multi-facet programmes namely proscenium performances, street-plays, children performances, sponsored perfo¬rmance of high repute, besides our regular modern theatre perfor¬mances inevitably such as proto .literacy movement, environment movement, anti-dowry movement etc.50th Independence Day got celebrated throughout the District with special attention to enrich the patriotism among rural-folks, youngsters and children. SUGGI SAMSKRUTHIKA UTSAV and also titled SUGGI RANGA SAMBRAMA is also significant regular programme and turned into mass-appraised and District of annual in nature, has got a cultural demand in the We are proud of giving coastal YAKSHAGANA performances to our audience and also the unique performances of HAADIYAATA, Directed by an alumni of Nat ional School of Drama, New Delhi, who. also happens to be Aesthetic Adviser of us. We are with the feather of recognisation of the Department of Culture, Government of India through the Salary grant given to the Professional organisation under of Financial Assistance to the Cultural Orqanisations. Besides to our regular performance we are giving Street-Plays throughout the District and collecting contribution from village-folk, so as to handover the purse with an amount of Rs.10,000 to the Deputy Commissioner of Tumkur District for the GUJARAT EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FUND. We are accredited with resource personalities from every walk of theatre-culture namely Sri.V.Rama Murthy, Sri.K.V. Karanth, Sri.Nairy and others from National School of Drama: Sri.H.V. Venkata Subbaiah, Sri Tumkur Shiva Kumar,Prof. K.V. Rajagopal, Dr.J.S.Murthy, Sri. Channabasaiah Gubbi and other awardees of Kannada Nataka ACademy: Sri.Mahalingu, Sri Mysore Ramanand, Smt.Renuka Bali Udaya Kumar, Sri.Yakshadegula Mohan, Sri Kote Nagabhushan and other renowned Theatre expertisers. We are from the theatre urge and committed and deeply involved to the field of Theatre by the performances of Theatre programmes.
