AchieveMents: 1. National Adventure Foundation was founded by Late Brig Gyan Singh former Principal HMI Darjeeling and NIM Uttarkashi and leader of Indian expedition to Mt Everest in 1960. National Adventure Foundation is a socially oriented philanthropic NGO dedicated to promotion of Adventure Activities & Sports as a growth and development oriented positive activity among the youth of country. NAF has the privilege being accorded the status of All India Organisation under the new scheme for National Programme for Youth and Adonescents Development by the Ministry of YAS Govt of India. NAF executes its charter through its 31 Chapters and a number of affiliates.
2. NAF happens to be the only NGO dealing with Adventure in all its myraid forms i.e. on land in water and in air

3 Since 1979 NAF has given exposure to over 1 million Youth in Adventure Sports and Activities. Focus of NAF has been on Youth belonging to weaker section of society and women.
4 NAF has been conducting Adventure Programmes for Ministry of YAS Govt of India for last 12 years it also conducts Adventure Programmes for UGC KV Sangthan and other Educational Institutions.
5 NAF also conducts outdoor trainning and leadership and team building programmes through Adventure Sports for Schools and Collages as also for Corporate Entitites.
