AchieveMents: NATIONAL RURAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, Sonepur is working for development of local crafts & craftsman since its inspection. The major activities & achivemens of the organization are Formation & Promotion of artisan SHGs, Design & Technical development of local crafts & Handlooms sector, providing social security to the artisans, Survey & indenification of craft pockets, Implementation of SGSY, RLTAP, AHVY, REDP & other schemes under financial assistance of Govt. of India/ Govt. of Orissa & other agencies, Skill development of local artisans , Coverage of health insurance for artisans, Facilitating market for artisan of Subarnapur district. Development & Promotion of craft cluster, monitoring & supervision of scheme under MG NAREGA in the Subarnapur district, Documentation of Craft process & products & etc.
