AchieveMents: Dance is a devotion which acclaimed Performer Choreographer Guru and Bharatanatyam danseuse Revathi Srinivasraghavan inherited from her guru Smt. Komalavalli Krishnamani After initial tutelage under her she acquired further knowledge from the renowned Indian nattuvanar Guru Kalaimamani Kadirvelu Pillai She gained deeper insights in Abhinaya from Padma Vibhushan Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan She gained knowledge of Konnakkol under Guru T. S. Nandakumar and currently continues to learn under Satish Krishnamurthy A Nritya Alankar from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal she holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Nagpur University She is the Founder Director of Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy a leading institute of Bharatnatyam training in Mumbai since last 25 years. Revathi a versatile dancer incorporates a lot of knowledge into her dance choreographies and hence her performances appeal to diverse audiences. A unique collaboration of Traditional Bharatnatyam with Mridangam has been started by her with multi faceted Mridangam playeri Satish Krishnamurthy. Together they have conceptualized, produced and performed Nritya Laya a unique presentation of Bharatnatyam on Mridangam jathis at coveted platforms such as NCPA Mumbai.
