AchieveMents: It is a great pleasure for us to present the activities undertaken by PEOPLES WELFARE VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION .Which speaks of our humble Endeavour and achievement, being a grass root level Social Organization during the short tenure of its inception the following activities are undertaken.
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
By organizing Programme on HIV AIDS PWVO enlighten the people of its operational area about the dreadful effects of sexual transmitted diseases, Humane Immune Virus HIV and Acquired Immune deficiency syndrome AIDS and other health hazards caused due to want of precautionary measures.
ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS
Life and Environment are interdependent. The Environment Awareness campaign is considered as the most important as it is most beneficial programme for the local people. PWVO Organized different Awareness campaign and action oriented programme during its tenure at different places of its operational area.
R C H PROGRAMME
By giving importance in executing various programmes relating to improved health and hygienic condition of the pregnant women and children, prevention of six killer diseases of the children during childhood, balance diet for the mothers Lactating mothers and other health care services to be adopted during prenatal and postnatal stages.
SANITATION PROGRAMME
A Good and healthy sanitation has a significant bearing on the life and health of people. In rural areas least care is given to sanitation. As a result women, children and the people at large face different physical and health hazards during the short tenure of the organisation we organised different awareness and action oriented programme at different rural villages of Khurda District.
SHG FORMATION AND TRAINING
The status of women in independent India occupies an important place and all efforts are being made to establish the significant that she can play in the upliftment of her own, her family and the society.
To create confidence among these rural women and bring about an awareness of their own potential.PWVO has conducted several awareness programme among the rural women in its operational area
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Realizing that lack of skill on the part of the people being the root of their poor socioeconomic condition, PWVO organized vocational training in various skills in order to enable them to earn their livelihood,
NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP
A Close eye is being kept by the organization towards promotion of communal harmony, universal brotherhood and establishment of National integration. Our organisation Organised different programme on youth development.
CHILD LABOUR WORKSHOP
To create consciousness among people about the issue of child labor and make them aware about the abrupt impact of that issue the organization had arranged workshop on child labour at different places of Khurda district.
SC ST DEVELOPMENT
The organization is playing a very crucial role for upliftment of the most Marginalized communities who are otherwise designates as resource poor communities. In the pretext, awareness, research, training and action oriented programmes for the benevolence of the said categories were being carried out at different places of Khurda District.
