AchieveMents: REPORT ON ACHIEVEMENT 300 Adivasi and Dalit School Students were provided educational assistance inform of note books, joining fees for continuing their study in the schools. In 28 villages 377 students are continuing their study in the schools. 24 students are supported continuously for college studies. Out of 24 students 8 students after completing their study have got the opportunities to work under Govt. 35 Panchayat Raj representatives are trained about their role and responsibilities To increase the food and income security of the small and marginal families, land development activities were undertaken for 310 families in half acre to 1 acre of homestead land. 260 families were supported do develop agro-forestry programme and have raised their food and income security. 260 livelihood supported families have planted fruit bearing plants and apart from the consumption they are also selling the products and getting money. In 25 vllages people have taken initiatives for developing family forestry. In 19 villages people have formed Forest protection committee and forest were protected to avoid forest degradation and depletion. In 3 villages 3 water harvesting structures are constructed. In 30 villages 45 Self Help Groups have been formed strengthened and they are linked with the local Bank. The 45 Self Help Groups are doing income generation activities for Individual economic self sufficiency. 100 families have been provided support with agricultural implements for ploughing and undertaking agricultural activities. In 30 villages grain banks and seed banks are also developed. In 30 villages people are aware of causes of common diseases and the mothers were cooperating for the Immunization programme. 6 No’s of Health Camps were organized in the area and 495 patients having different diseases were treated. 100 families provided with kitchen garden seeds for developing kitchen garden. 15 Malnourished children were provided with nutritious supplements and their health became normal. In 19 villages cattle care services immunisation were undertaken along with veterinary department. In 7 villages 3 dug wells and 12 Spring Protection wells are constructed for drinking water facilities for the communities.
