AchieveMents: To create awareness among the people residing both in rural and urban areas including SC/ST and backward classes for their development programmes, rural development, welfares of children. To impart training programmes to individuals and groups in Handloom and Handicrafts, Bamboo products, Rural Industries Programme (RIP), Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Crafts Training Centres, wood Carving, Stone Carving etc. To organise the programmes for agro-based projects and agricultural allied activities, wasteland development projects, wasteland management, post-harvest programmes, land development, dryland development programmes, desert and prone areas programmes, poultry, piggery, goatry, dairy, pisciculture, floriculture, fishery, duckery, apiculture and other income generating programmes. To promote cultural programmes, construction of cultural hall & training centres, production of plays, tradition folklore, art and culture, preservation of ancient Tribal Art Forms etc. To establish the institutions, disabled schools, ashram schools, boarding schools, street boys and orphanage home, destitute home, old aged homes, day-care centres, short-stay homes, counseling centres, yoga schools, research centres, welfare of widows etc. To create and awareness among people in public health and sanitation, environment and ecology for maintaining a hygienic surrounding and to take programmes for prevention of epidemic and disease/pollution, relief/rehabilitation of victims of natural categories, help to victims of riots/other disturbances. To set up rehabilitation centres for chemically dependents and mentally retarded persons, handicapped persons, construction of running hostels for poor students, purchase and supply of educational material-books, note books etc. To take up schemes and projects for construction of low cost houses, sanitary latrines, chulah, bio-gas plants, non-conventional energy resources, innovative stream, IVR, rural water supply programmes, agricultural lift irrigation in rural, SC, ST, OBC and remote areas, digging bore wells/hand pumps, sanitation including community toilets, environmental programmes, social forestry projects etc. To conduct and establish vocational trainings in Wool Knitting, Embroidery, Tailoring, Weaving & Spinning, Shorthand & Typing, Computer, Mat-making, Carpentry, Gem Cutting, Offset Printing, Cooking, Bakery and Food processing, Photography, Photo Farming & Lamination, Printing, Composing and Book Binding, Screen Printing, Tie and Die, Spray Painting and Denting, Welding & Fitter, Jewellery, Black smith, Iron & Steel fabrication with a view to upgrade skill to enable them to start income generating activities on their own or get gainfully regarding generating their own or get gainfully regarding generating their own self employment & Enterprises i.e. eradication of unemployment.
