AchieveMents: Saraswati Mahila shilpkala Parshikshan Samiti, having its registered office at Village: Kurauli, Post: Gandhi Ashram, Barabanki is a voluntary Social organization registered under Indian Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 having its Registration No. 90/91-92.
As mentioned above that although society was registered on 06/04/1991 but it has been carrying out its activities for the last several years in rural and urban areas of the District Barabanki. Society was established with the basic aim of providing social services to all community. These social services includes training Programmes, Educational Programmes, Income generating Programmes, Environmental Programmes, Rural sanitation Programme, Awareness Programmes, Cultural Activities etc.
In order to make youth and women self depended society has been carried out different type of Training Programmes. These training Programmes include Tailoring & Knitting Programme, Handicraft Training Programmes, Computer Training Programme, etc. In addition to these society has been carried out several awareness Camps, health checkup camps, environment protection Programme, AIDS protection Programmes, etc. All these Programmes have been carried out by society through its own resources but even then every activity was completed in a successful manner.
It is also important to mention here that society has been carrying out Job for formation of Self Help Groups (SHGs) in rural areas of the district Barabanki from its own resources. Society has very deeply observed the pitiable position of these artisans who are very skilled in ââ¬ÅCHIKAN CRAFT & PATCH WORKââ¬Â job but in absence of proper guidance & direction they are still depend on the mediators. Several years have been passed but no improvements have come in the life of these artisans. They couldnââ¬â¢t become self dependent. Now it is hoped that this new Scheme will bring a new era in the life of these artisans and they will be able to earn very handsome amount involving any mediator.
The new scheme launched by the Ministry of Textile, Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft), New Delhi, under its scheme Baba saheb Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojna is a very noble and exploring the actual artisan, who find themselves in pitiable position in absence of proper guidance and financial support. Under this scheme every sort of assistance guidance shall be provided to artisans to make them Self Entrepreneur.
