Education Issues MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR STUDENT EDUCATION PROGRAMME GBVT aims to provide and facilitate quality education focusing on values literacy and numeracy through joyful experiential child centered learning process for the children of Ahmedabad Taluka in the 6to 15 years age group with special stress on education of the girl child CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT With a view to building the technical financial and managerial capacities of 2 partner NGOs working in the education sector and scale up their services for mainstreaming about 800 out of school and at risk children GBVT started functioning as a capacity-building grantee of REACH Reaching & Educating At-risk Children India project in 2008 WOMEN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME Under the financial and technical support from community the organization started women interaction camp Total 572 women are helped by this centre till now Resource person associated with different professions are extending their valuable advice and services to this camp In order to solve various women related problems the women are provided counseling on health legal matters family dispute education professions etc This noble mission of the trust is highly appreciated by people Women are oriented to start new profession as well as life They learnt the value of education and discovered new ways of solving their day to day problems GBVT is making continuous and serious effort since its genesis to develop human resources for diversified economically viable income generation opportunities in rural areas created by new market demands GBVT formed all together 65 Self Help Groups till date regularly offering them capacity building training programme along with inputs on group enterprise development The aim of the organization is to reinforce groups into a common platform to access various developmental information through a single window Need based trainings on gender and other qualitative aspects of SHGs are regular activities of GBVT AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR HANDICAPPED PEOPLE ENVIRONMENT & FOREST RELATED PROGRAMME TRAINING CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMMES After conducting study and as per the need of marginalized community GBVT conducted several numbers of following training programme for the rural urban youths of the Surendranagar dist Here we are happy to inform that maximum numbers of training participants are now start their own ventures and getting earning out of itThe item wise trade of the programme are 1Graphic designing in Computer 2 Aggarbatty Incense sticks MAHILA HANDICRAFTS TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMES As we all know that Rural Economy is some what stagnant in India because it has narrow economy base primarily confined to Agriculture sector The base could be diversified successfully by promoting non farm sector especially rural industries for which one would need entrepreneurs and what could be better ways than to utilize local enterprise for the same This on the one hand will provide gainful self employment to the local talented youth and wage employment to the less endowed ones SNOW BALLING effect of such activities on a large scale is not likely to lead to poverty eradication but to better economic conditions and living for the rural people without dislocating them in terms of rural to urban migration which costs heavily both socially and economically The concept of the programme was the development of the group members so that the project partners could start their own venture And Neswa Conduct under the Training workshop and Seminar Embroidery and Patch work Soft Toys Ladies Dress making Art Work & Design Imitation Jewellry Agro Development Issues Gbvt was celebrated by launching a project Rural Education on Agricultural Development under this project our society works with Govt and our volunteers aware the farmers about their rights and policies implemented for them Mainly they coordinate with secretary of Gramsabha and tell about the different variety of seeds fertilize
