SEBA has been registered by a group of NGO and social activities of Orissa and some premier activists of India like Retired IFS, IAS, IPS, Professors, in 1997. SEBA has adopted the principle of Divine Life Society, Sarvodaya and the work influenced through Gandhian and Co-operative methodology. We have formed Divine Co-Operative Consumers Store Ltd and ten women SHGS for production of Khadi, Agarbati, Candles, Badi and Papad, Spices for promoting training of rural and unemployed youth. The profit has been spent on rain water harvesting and ground water recharge in Chidanada Minor Irrigation Project(MIP) which is serving 40 square kilometer agricultural field of Jajpur District. We are the members of Utkal Gomangal Samiti, Animal welfare Board of India, Soil Conservation Of India, Indian Red Cross Society We have another project at Pausia Bandah at Betnati, Mayurbhanj District of Orissa. We have adopted diversified agriculture through Chidananda Pani Panchayat, Chidananda Krushak Club, Chidandanda SHGS having research center for plant and diary development. We organize Animal welfare fortnight, Co-operative fort night, awareness program for Good citizenship, multifaceted training, disaster management, Panchayatraj Bikas at Chidananda Centre. We observe Environment day, Birthday of Gandhiji, Sivandanda and Chidananda, Independence day, Republic day. We believe in all religious and invite all missionaries in one round table for forecasting the idea of Humanity by Satsang and kin relationship in Human resource development. We are successful in producing a “PATENT MANGO TREE NAMED CHIDANANDA BHOG”. We have carried out a Training of Agriculture farmers for two days on 26/2/2008 and 27/02/2008 at project area of Chidananda MIP . About 100 farmers were trained on growing Oil seeds and Pulses, cane production by Sri Sudarsan Acharya, D.A.O of Jajpur and his staff. Nimarin Free medicine were distributed also provided Tiffin and meals during the training. We have organized Shramik Divas at Dangadi on 01.05.2008 which was a gathering of 400 bonded labourers, daily workers engaged in different mineral industries. The aspect of the effect of pollution and global warming was discussed vividly. Disaster Management Camp conducted. They were made aware of Flood, Cyclone, Tsunami, Earthquake so the experience of 1999 super cyclone was remembered. Students of AP College of Sujanpur attended and agreed to be volunteers at the end. On 17 Nov 2008 Mr TB Das Chief Engineer M.I Department of Orissa inspected Chidananda MIP team was also accompanied by Sri Aurobinda Raut, Executive Engineer, MI Division Cuttack, Sri PK Rant Asst Engineer and JE Sri BS Behere. The visit was vidio recorded. It was proved that Chief Engineer was commended the work. On 05 Mar 2009 the seminar was conducted in the presence of Sarpanch of the region, Gram Sathi, GRS were trained for NREGS programme by Govt of India. Utilization of more money in irrigation and plantation in Chidananda MIP. Movement was made for prepartion and issue of job cards and opening SB Account in Post office. Our SEBA staff made all round movement for the taking tasks.
