AchieveMents: * 1986: The charitable society was established and registered under the inspiring leadership of Sri Tamton Abdul Azeez who was the founder of this centre. He continued as the secretary till his demise in 1995. * 1987: Started a Day Care Centre with a popcorn unit at Mankave (Calicut) with Devasya as the manager who continues till date. It served as a centre of occupation therapy and also as a training centre to enable patients to stand on their own feet. The centre was shifted to puthiyara as the society had to vacate the building. Popcorn and peanuts were marketed initially and a nursery was started and seedlings of nut mugs, cloves etc were grown and sold. The social forestry programmed supported this project. The foundation stone for the residential complex was laid by the then Minister of Health Mr.A.C Shanmugadas at the site. * 1990: The Round Table 69 sponsored the construction of the of a building for occupational therapy. This is continued without break till date. On the last Thursday of every month medicines are dispensed free and we are grateful to the psychiatrists of Calicut, who attend the camp on their own, allowing free consultation. * 1991: Built the Industrial centre at Thalakulathur site with the financial assistance of Calicut Round Table-69. * 1992: The society organized a seminar on rehabilitation of mental patients and a medical camp in Calicut in which many leading psychiatrists of national stature such as Dr. Mohan Isaac (NIMHANS) and Dr. Raj Kumar (SCARF) participated.
