AchieveMents: Conservation of local natural resources, working for the economic uplift of the rural community, enabling the marginalized sector join the mainstream of life, over all empowerment of the society, welfare of the women and children are some of the agenda on the cards of our Trust. We have been appointed as Business Facilitator by State Bank of India- Madurai Module. We are working with 29 State Bank of India Branches Dindigul and Theni Districts. 2880 women self help groups (SHGs) have been formed sofar covering 45880 members and are practicing savings and credit management based on self and mutual help basis. These groups are spread across 680 habitations. These groups have been linked with State Bank of India and HDFC Bank Limited. More than 3280 educated and uneducated youth were trained towards their self employment during the last Seven years. Technical guidance and bank loans were provided to them to start their own income generating activities in the areas of Tailoring and embroidery, Fabric/ Glass/ pot paintings, Soft toys making, Catering Technology, Food products, Eco friendly products etc. To encourage the talented students and to educate the normal students and for adult-non formal education, we started a Tuition Center. We have promoted a Badminton Club in Ayyampalayam for rural students and youth . More than 1000 saplings were planted every year to enhance the environment equilibrium in our work area deeming it as part of our duty to the posterity. So far 7000 trees have been planted and maintained We are also implementing NABARD Assistant in Natural Resources Management Programmes through watershed approach in Ayyampalayam area in Dindigul District We have constructed Rural Sanitation Projects at Ayyampalayam funded by the ACWW, London
