AchieveMents: Tribal Health Initiative was started on september 1993,By two medical doctors who were interested in tribal welfare. The base hospital at Sittilingi provides Out patients services and In patient services and catering to more than 8,000 tribal population .The hospital has well equipped labour unit and New bron unit and a surgical unit too. Health worker training: A major component of the hospital where tribal girls who have passed 8th std are trained in administering basic health services and treating minor ailments . Health Auxillary Training:The local community elderly women are trained peripheral health clinics:21 villages are covered and Pregnant women and under 5 age group children are covered. Tribal organic farming is implemented through farmers collective tribal crafts are encouraged among women and business units are developed thulir a supplementary school in building skills among children of tribals
