Image building of voluntary sector in govt and in larger society was successfully made by UPVAN through their two days annual conferences Prem Bhai awards to dedicated dignitaries in the sector and launching Emergency Relief Fund to safeguard the social security of voluntary workers The issues related to child labour in UP were the prime intervention of UPVAN which were resulted into the formation of an issue based network voice of partners It was in association with the police and transport departments of the State govt that UPVAN succeeded the issues related to social harmony and brotherhood in society at large This resulted in declines of FIRs and wide spread expansion of cohesive massages in other states UPVAN recently initiated all agreed Gender Policy for member organizations the adoption of the policy is getting place in their agenda and work culture At the incidence of CAPART UP the UPVAN in association with the VANI succeeded to sensitize issues related to FCRA 1996 among the voluntary community of the state Prior to take up the issues related to MDGs
