VIKAS BHARTI Key Issues and Operational Areas, Major Activiities & Achivements

AchieveMents: Siwan RIT-YDC center which is being managed by Vikas Bharti since 2003 is one of the two seleceted centres in Bihar which ahs established a network in the remote and interier rural areas with many other youth clubs operational in these places.so this program has effectively created awareness among local youths. Our organisation also successfully manages the central govt.sponsored Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya in one of the block of Siwan dist. since 2006. Six workshops concerning different aspect of rights and roles of women representative of panchyati raj institution were successfully organised which was sponsored by HUNGER project, New Delhi. Apart from this , under TAHA programme vikas bharti worked to enhance participation of Rural Youths to contain the spread of HIV-AIDS and stop trafficking.Awarness campaign on environment and climate was also organised by us, facilitated by Ministry of Environment and forests ,under NEAC(National Environment Awareness Campaign) in which school children were kept main target.
