Operational Districts:

Operational States:

AchieveMents: WAIA, as the organization is known, consists of a diverse group of members, who have come together with a common motive of creating an improved and better society. The organization thrives to motivate and educate the most deprived members of society through its various social awareness activities. Objectives of WAIA: - The members of WAIA strongly believe that society and its future can be greatly benefited by improving the adolescents’, education, health and social environment. The youth of today are the pillar of tomorrow’s society and by providing a healthy and safe atmosphere, we, at WAIA can help to create a better world.WAIA Educate India Project- This educational based program targets both school and non-school going children. Under the Non-School Going category, children from very poor background and Our other mentoring program, which falls under the ‘School Going Category’, aims to assist school going children in preparing for subjects like Science, English and Math before their board exams. WAIA Educate India also focuses on providing healthcare to its students, who would be evaluated when joining the “Educate India Project” and during its term. This project is a “time bound” activity, with the sole purpose to take students a step forward in achieving their academic or educational goal. Under this project, WAIA aims at providing free education through mentoring, vocational training, computer training, distribution of books, providing free stationery and through sponsorship of both needful and academically excelling students. To create a positive environment, WAIA has organized mass awareness activities that focused on youth related issues like “Adolescent Awareness”. We have been conducting quiz and debate competitions which primarily targeted the youth, who are the future of tomorrow. Another focus area of our NGO (non governmental organization) is in the primary healthcare sector where the members of WAIA intend to provide increased access to healthcare facilities. We plan to educate the masses about adopting prevention measures from contagious diseases like tuberculosis, seasonal diseases like malaria, diarrhea etc. This would be conducted during the free check up clinics organized for the needy. For this, we would be utilizing mobile medical units, which is basically a fully equipped ambulance that would handle patients’ needs. The mobile medical unit would be distributing free medicines, checking blood pressure and attending to the medical needs of the poor people of the community. By this we would be covering both the preventive and curative aspects of WAIA’s health awareness ventures.
