Major Activities: Women and Child Development. Poverty alleviation through participatory community based initiatives. Economic and socio-political empowerment of disadvantaged mountain communities, Environmental regeneration, Promotion and capacity building of community based organizations and local NGOs, Advocacy and lobbing to bring about pro-poor policies and program, Health Education, (preventive and promotive) Training and advocacy for health for all Achievements assets for drinking water, irrigation, cooperative buildings and collection centers, 45Villages are covered by drinking water schemes with water tanks and pipelines under rural drinking water and sanitation program SWAJAL, Disadvantaged community are in major focus of activities, Rural health and environmental sanitation campaign has been organized in more than 300 villages in Pithoragarh, More than 75 acre forest land is covered by the plantation of fodder species like oak and other, 5 NTFPs nurseries formed with women groups in common land, Series of environmental camps and workshops have organized and still it is continue as according to the community demand, Organic farming and vegetable cultivation is being promoted in the project area Watershed Management of Tarkeshwari and Panar Watersheds, Capacity build of Jagran Manch an organization which raised the local issues of community through cultural programmes, other community groups are regularly being promoted by the capacity building activities, Training of ICDS Aganbari workers of Kuman Region of Uttranchal state, Leadership training for CBOs and NGOs, Accounting and management trainings, Management of Self Reliance Cooperatives, Market Survey, value addition, technology up gradation, Conflict management, Govt. of Uttranchal has adopted major suggestions of Women Centered Development policy, Workshop for media personal and development workers for main streaming of pro-poor issues of development, Conducted Uttranchal health studies and shared with minister Principal secretary and other health officials, Working as Media advocacy for development workers Policy influencing programmes, workshops and meetings are regularly organized and continue, URC and PRC for self good Governance in local self Governance is established, Community health programme for developing the local capacities, Meeting with cooperative members to make them aware regarding the health care services provided through the government, Meetings conducted with government health staff regarding the services provided by them, Participated in health camps, immunization camp, Invited government health staff during the trainings of the village health volunteers, community through a team of Community Health volunteers in taking up basic health services such as immunization, maternal and child care, Establishing linkages with government-run primary health centres and enabling the community based organisations to create demand for services within the community from these health centres, Setting up Village-level Health Centres for provision of basic non-clinical health services such as distribution of health commodities, stocking of medicines for common diseases and providing referral services, Organising health camps and mobile clinics in outreach villages,Meetings attended with CMO on health issues like immunization, DOTs, female foeticide, cconduct village level meetings on health and hygiene promotion, Health education programmes organised for project team, master trainers and village health volunteers, Trainings conducted on community empowerment, leadership, self-reliance, social audit, gender, human anatomy, human physiology, health and hygiene practices, reproductive health, traditional health system, Development of training modules and health literature and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material to create awareness on health and hygiene issues and how it relates to common illnesses, Develop the capacities of community-run coope
