Taking this phase of in consideration Adarsh Saraswati Shiksha Samiti has devoted its parts 24 Years for the development of poor and needy peoples through different schemes and projects sponsored by Govt. of India and Pvt. Donors.
To uplift the status of poor peoples of the society, the Adarsh Saraswati Shiksha Samiti, Sonepat (Haryana) contributed its efforts in the fields of self employment training, Social services, Environment Protection, Agriculture etc. Through different programmes & Schemes during 2008-09 for the benefits of rural people, women, youth & childs. The main objects of Adarsh Saraswati Shiksha Samiti is-
1 Skill development & Human resources development.
2 To adopt destitute aged persons & to cater their basic needs.
3 Sustainable development through application of science & technology.
4 To implement various social welfare schemes for the benefits of the backward sections.
5 To provide qualitative health services & basic education.
6 Development & empowerment of women, Adolescents, Youth & Aged.
7 Working on stoping female feticide & AIDS etc.
CHIEF ACHIEVEMENTS:
a. The poorest specially S.C./S.T/Backward BPL population benefited from all the programmes.
b. Destitute aged & women have been the major beneficiaries
c. Health gains have reached the weaker sections through RCH prog., AIDS awareness among high risk groups, Drug de-addiction programme & settlement of Family Dispute matter out of court.
d. Uplifted the life conditioned aged persons & created a sense of security about their remaining life.
e. Economic empowerment of the BPL families have taken place through IGP training and organizing self-employment/gainful employment schemes.
f. Government and private resources have been consistently tapped for providing welfare services to the weaker sections.
