Aiswaryagram is a training research centre of SAFP put up in the year 1988. The objective of Aiswaryagram is to promote facilitate and play a pro-active role in empowering and strengthening the primary agriculture and allied sectors to generate rural employment, increase the outputs of agriculture & allied activities for achieving food security and reduces the cost & improves the quality of farming inputs to make farming cost effective Strategies adopted 1 Capacity building of the farmers and promoting community models 2 Promoting sustainable agriculture. Aiswaryagram promotes and popularizes sustainable agriculture ie the economically and environmentally sustainable approach to guarantee holistic health, food security, food production and economical well being that improves the soil fertility, retains water in soil and conserves bio-diversity which eventually increases the productivity of land among the small and marginal farmers Multi crop system. Depending on single crop will lead the farmers to desperation when the cost of that agriculture commodity comes down. Multi crop system compensate the income of the farmers with another commodity iii. Avail quality seeds and seedlings to farmers. (The production and distribution of quality seeds) iv. The collaboration and linkages with various research institutions, national and international governmental agencies, research centers and voluntary organizations are playing a pro-active role in our participatory action research (PAR) and technology development (PTD) processes. Aiswaryagram is the Training and Research Institute of Save a Family Plan (India), which is a registered Charitable Trust (No. 603/90) committed to sustainable development. The trainings and other activities of Aiswaryagram aim to the integral development of the society irrespective of cast, creed or political affiliation. The 24 acre farm is a live laboratory for farming experimentations with a vision to develop and popularize economically and environmentally sound farming practices. The centre has facilities for conducting training programs in Dairying, Rabbit rearing, Goat rearing, Poultry, plant nursery etc. The land has been suitably laid out to accommodate different crops, as well as sheds for cows, goats, rabbits, poultry, Piggery, fishery, etc. At present the center has 75 high breed milking cows and the milk is distributed to 400 houses by 5 milk vendors. The rabbit variety consist of high breed varieties like Russian Ginchella, white giant, Soviet white, gray giant etc. A number of verities of pigs are rearing in the farm and the verities are Durock, Landrace, Yogh share etc. The piglets are distributing to the farmers in nominal rate. The center also is distributing goat breads, Chicks lets for egg purpose, calves, fancy chicks etc. The centre has got residential facilities for 40 to 50 trainees at a time. It is a model farm practicing sustainable agriculture.
