Working for better transport and transit for expectant mothers in the Sundarban delta with modern GPS and GIS technology and relevant analytical tools. Organising medical aid for the poorest of the poor, including critical surgical procedures with donation from the public and help from the medical fraternity. Working for awareness about Indian Constitution and the legal system by organising seminars by legal luminaries, human rights activists, industrialists and academicians for senior students and the masses.Creating awareness about civic issues, like hazards of using mobile phones on the roads through sustained campaigns on the roads, print and the electronic media. Organising seminars for the informed audience like effects of Indian five year plans by eminent economists, targeted to professional and amateur researchers.Organising socio political research, like development of Indian legal system as seen by the public through newspaper reportings in last 100 years. Setting up of training institutions, particularly vocational, for the school deserters and under-privileged and upgrading to ITI level. Research on higher education opportunities of women in the social context.
