Since last 44 years, “Allahabad Natya Sangh” has been organizing “All India Multilingual Short-Play, Folk-Dance Competition and Theatre Seminar” This year also “Allahabad Natya Sangh” is committed for keeping alive the glory of multilingual Indian theatres. It is holding “44th All India Multilingual Short-Play, Folk-Dance Competition and Theatre Seminar” at NCZCC, Allahabad from the 17th to 26th November, 2012. A General Meeting of “Allahabad Natya Sangh” is hold to decide the schedule and accordingly it corresponds with the various teams from various states with the details of the competition and theatre-seminar. Confirming to the schedule and obtaining reservation of berths in trains, almost 1000 artists of 70 teams reach here to participate in the competition. “Allahabad Natya Sangh” provides them good facilities of fooding, lodging, transport and other requirements. Fooding and lodging facilities are also provided to about 300 volunteers and Judges, who are called to decide the winners. The premises of NCZCC becomes insufficient for lodging keeping in view the large number of the participants, so we have to arrange for more than twenty tents in the field for this purpose. From the first day itself, the atmosphere at the Natya-Gram (Theatre-village) becomes vibrant and colourful. Artists from different parts of the nation strolling in the Natya-Gram, different groups dancing, singing, rehearsing here and there, people exchanging ideas on Arts and Culture, dining together. As days pass on, the intensity of the togetherness and the competitive spirit increases.
