Major Activities and Achivements

We are aiming at the upliftment of the Tribals and the Marginalized section of the society. To achieve the goal we are engaged in different activities. At Present we are running Grihani School where we train the woman in Shawl making, tailoring and embroidery etc. so that they can do some income generation activities. To empower the women e have formed many SHGs and had also trained them on different trades so that they can earn along with saving. Through Vocational Training we trained the unemployed youth on different trades and skills - Office Management, Nursing Assistant, Lab Technician, Tailoring, Spoken English and Computer. At the end of the course we also assist them in the placement as we aim at linking education with employment. We are also running Rehabilitation Center for the visually impaired children where they are given formal education along with training on daily activities. In this center the parents are also motivated and trained so that they should not look at their children with sympathy or a curse at their family. To enable the tribals and marginalized girls to study well in the rural areas we provide hostels facilities.
