AchieveMents: About Anart Foundation Established with a view to generate and extend awareness for classical dance and related arts, Anart Foundation is engaged in wide ranging activities from creating and staging dance productions, imparting performance oriented training to working on research oriented projects. Anart Foundation has flourished and bloomed as an institution of high repute with the creative excellence and vision of gurus Maulik Shah and Ishira Parikh. Maulik Shah and Ishira Parikh are two of the most recognized and established kathak dancers and choreographers of this generation. Even though both are virtuous dancers in their own right, together they create unique fusion of complementary artistic vision. Not only as dancers, but also as choreographers they have displayed their creative excellence. They have performed at all reputed events and festivals of India. They have been cultural ambassadors to as many as 35 countries around the world. They are on the panel of ICCR in outstanding category since many years. They are top grade artist in Doordarshan and are recipients of prestigious awards like Gaurav puraskar, Guj. State, Navdeep puraskar, shringarmani etc Anart Foundation has created and staged many dance productions which have proved to be innovative, creative and of high caliber. Anart dance ensemble has shaped into one of the leading performing company of India. Talented dancers groomed under the tutelage of Maulik Shah and Ishira Parikh who are now professional dancers are part of the company. They have performed at the major events and festivals of India and also traveled abroad to present productions of Anart Foundation. Few of the prestigious performances by Anart Foundation are : Udayshankar ballet festival – Jaipur, Delhi, 33rd World Chemistry Olympiad, International design conference, Asian games- Beijing, International kite festival- Ahmedabad, Openeing ceremony Cairo international film festival- Egypt, Dance India – Milapfest – Liverpool, U.K etc Recognizing this institution’s high standard and dedication Sangeet Natak Akademi (New-Delhi) has collaborated with Anart Foundation to organize dance events on several occasions. Dept. of culture supports its activities. Anart Foundation is on the panel of ICCR – New-Delhi. Anart Foundation has gained and preserved the reputation as an institution with great vision, caliber and dedication in the field of art and culture.
