Major Activities and Achivements
The Society intends to start Hospital & Research Centre however since it is young hence short of funds to complete the same. The patient care has been started on O.P.D. basis at Vairag, a rural town in the Solapur district. It treats the patient free of cost since last more than 4 years under the able guidance of Dr. Gautam Vitthal Jagtap [M. S. – General Surgery]. A Medicine professional, he has served the people through his job with the Government of Maharashtra for more than three decades. His expertise in the field of medicine coupled with the administrative skills has helped the Society to implement several programs for the masses. Various health programs such as Malaria Eradication, Leprosy Control, Blindness Control, Tuberculosis Control, etc. have been implemented through the Society. Anusaya Healthcare & Education Foundation has been at the forefront in creating awareness about the control of HIV/AIDS. Multi-specialty diagnosis camps have been organized and free medicines have been distributed. The Society has also conducted several eye camps and patients suffering with cataract were referred to MGM Hospital, Pune. The patients which were found to show the symptoms of tuberculosis were referred to the local Government Hospitals. Suspected patients with HIV/AIDS were referred to General Hospital, Solapur for investigation and further treatment.
