Major Activities and Achivements

The above organization was founded in the year 1997 by Sri Chandrashekar Shetty, Kerady who is the Founder Trustee. Adapting Badaguthitu concept of Yakshagana, the above organization held many Cultural Activities since then. It conducted several stage plays, workshops for youths at different places, trained up many aspirants to Yakshagana in the several aspects Yakshagana such as Make Up, Costume Designing. Adapting themes, concepts from Mahabharata and Ramayana, it held thousands of stage plays, with a view to creating social awareness among the public and for the purpose of cherishing its values to posterity. We also invite experts in the field and conduct important Prasangas with a view to gain expertise, guidance etc. in order to impart the skills gained to our students to keep them well informed of the changing basic concept of Yakshagana, changing trends in Yakshagana thus aspiring primarily being to retain the cultural values of Yakshagana as an Art form. Apart from working even outside the outskirts the boundaries of Karnataka catering to the demand for its entertainment value, we furthermore aspire to preserve, uplift Cultural Aspects of the Yakshagana form and pass it on to posterity. We also work as conduit between the Yakshagana enthusiasts for the sake of enrichment of this culture and we also assist and extend our organisationís help to aspirants interested in this field of art for rendering some financial support to those needy persons, artists, aspirants, enthusiasts. Whenever situations arose, we worked even outside the outskirts of Karnataka for providing and catering to the demand.
