PROGRAMS OF DEENABANDHU ORGANIZATION: Health care activities in rural villages include free health camps and awareness programs. Vocational training: Programs are organized for unemployed women to build their skills and make them profitable. Training programs for groups of 25 women include tailoring, knitting, embroidery, handloom weaving and making leather products. Night schools for illiterate women: Female literacy in Gadag district is low. To address this night school operate to teach basic and functional literacy. Operating pre-schools for children where there are no government run pre-primary schools (anganwadis). Womenís development program: Organizing women into self-help groups, promotion of savings and credit activities, and small businesses development through microfinance Alliance for Cooperation and Legal Aid Bangladesh intervened, for the causes of its beneficiaries, project activities under the programs of- Prevention and Control of STI/HIV/AIDS Environmental Protection and Bio-diversity Conservation Non-Formal Education Water Resource management Promotion and restoration of human rights of distressed women and children Combating trafficking in women and children Income Generation programme Relief and Natural Disaster management Research for Social Development and Life skills development training.
