Major Activities and Achivements

Muskan was established in the year 1998-99. Muskan was formed on the birthday of Late Jay Prakash Narayan with five founder women members of the organization. It was incepted in year 1998 by a group of social activist. Inspiration behind this inception was the vision of great men like Gandhi Jee, Jay Prakash Narayan, Lohia etc. The mission of the organization is to build capacities of the rural poor through organizing them. Our target group are women, youths and children specially belonging to the dalits, minority & other poor community in general. The Society has performed a number of development projects and programmes in its 15 years of journey to bring smile on the face of thousands of marginalized people. Different types of interventions performed by the Society are related to child right, Women right, Dalit right, education, Training community health. family planning & water and sanitation & personal hygiene, welfare, advocacy, environment conversation of cultural heritage, CBO formation literacy, schedule immunization etc
