Month and Year Sequence of activity April 2011 1. SR ASIA face book group formed in April 2011 (Please put the link) May 2011 2. SR ASIA Social Network (Facebook and linkedin) Page has been created and found huge response from different countries (please put the link) http://www.facebook.com/groups/srasia/ http://www.linkedin.com/groups/SR-Asia-3909480?trk=myg_ugrp_ovr Aug 2011 3. Consent reached by the participants of other countries participated in APO ISO 26000 training Program held in Taipei, Taiwan in August 2011 to form SR ASIA as an international organisation to be registered in India and India shall be Headquarter. Nov 2011 4. In Nov 2011, in Kuala lampur (Malaysia) formal meeting of SR ASIA international directors ( Dr. Danta from Indonesia, Dr. Leow from Malaysia and Mr. Birendra Raturi from India ) met and discussed SR ASIA framework and agenda for the next 5 years. It was decided then that India will host its first International conference in New Delhi. It was also decided that SR ASIA will work in close co-operation with APO Japan and NPOs of member countries. Oct 2011 5. SR ASIA released its first e-newsletter Oct 2011. Nov 2011 6. SR Asia also decided to come up with some certification course on sustainability managers. The program outlines has been made and shared. The final program will be released soon and may start from November 2012 in few countries. Feb- March 2012 7. SR ASIA international Director Mr. Birendra Raturi travelled to EUROPE to seek support and met CBI the Netherlands, European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) , CSR Europe and European Commission in Brussels and OECD officials in Paris. Feb- March 2012 8. CBI an agency of Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Netherlands Government pledged financial support for venue ( International conference) Page 1 of 3 Month and Year Sequence of activity Feb- March 2012 9. CSR Europe agreed to be a knowledge partner and our programs are available on their website. Feb- March 2012 10. OCED agreed to support, we are looking forward to have them in International conference in New Delhi during 18-19 Oct 2012 Feb 2012 11. Feb 2012, SR Asia was registered in India as legal entity. Feb-2012 12. SR ASIA website launched in March 2012. www.sr-asia.org Feb –March 2012 13. SR ASIA Bangladesh conducted a survey on green productivity, Thirty three companies participated and provided key inputs which lead to a decision to conduct conference in Bangladesh March 2012 14. SR ASIA Bangladesh Chapter decided to organise one day conference on” creating buy-in for socially responsible products and services for sustainability in Bangladesh, 17 May 2012. April 2012 15. NPO Bangladesh wrote to APO Japan to support the conference by inviting an speaker. April 2012 16. NPO Bangladesh, Additional Secretaries Ministries of Industries, Govt of Bangladesh and UNDP supported SR ASIA BD. CARE Bangladesh was a sponsor including many corporate as sponsor. May 2012 17. SR ASIA conference held on 17 May 2012 in Dhaka, Chief Guest was ICT Secretary Govt of Bangladesh, NPO Director as conference Chairman and many other dignitaries attended the conference. May 2012 18. Media coverage by Financial Express, ATN Bangla and Bangladesh Protidin, The Daily Sun. May 2012 19. Bank Account opened with ICICI Bank, Lajpat Nager branch New Delhi India. June 2012 20. SR ASIA Bangladesh Conference Proceeding.
