Since that time NGOs have become increasingly influential in the development of the society and the people living in it.
The role of the NGOs in the developing world is quite critical, their responsibilities and work spans across different levels, and fields; and in order to perform all those tasks with utmost accuracy and efficiency NGOs are quickly becoming more structured and organized.
These non- governmental and on-profit organizations mainly run on donations and charities, and they work with the motto of effective development at the grass root level, which can bring a radical change in the progress of the society as a whole.

Ngos helping Children working for child labor and children education

The Role of the NGOs in developing the society

With time, the country has experienced rapid growth; but, the growth has not been able to touch every level of the society in the same way. On one hand, when more and more people are becoming habituated with an annual foreign trip, a major part of the society is hardly able to earn the bread for a day. NGOs take significant steps to reach out to these grass root level and help them to have a better life through their own development. Many Ngos in India are working for the growth of the different kind of people and helps in eradicate blind beliefs and bad superstitious beliefs. Numerous NGos are working for the Women welfare , Women education and girl education and Women growth as well they giving more importance to the Oldage people also.

So many NGos organisations in India are working for increasing the Education and Literacy in both rural and Urban slums.
The responsibilities of an NGO in a developing society are not restricted within extending help to the poor, but the NGOs take a leading part in a number of other social issues, including child and women trafficking, child and adult education, extending proper medical care to people with physical or mental disability, and also in a number of other aspects, which are designed with the same motto of development of the deprived class. These organisations often provide essential services in the developing world, which are mainly taken care of by the government agencies or institutions in the developed countries.
Specializations Yield Better Service
As already said, in a developing society, NGOs have to deal with different types of social issues, and in order to be able to provide the best help in every respect, NGOs have diversified and specialised according to their basic goals. This has helped these organisations to concentrate on some particular sector of people and help them in a more effective way. Some of the NGOs work closely with the UN or other international organizations; whereas some work all by themselves, and depeds mainly on charity. You can find the details of NGO services on the web and gather a lot of information.
We strongly believe that the disadvantaged need opportunities not charity and our focus is to bring about a positive change in the lives of the most vulnerable people of our society. With this aim we partner with grass root programmes.
At National NGO for Social Empowerment we bridge the gap between such NGOs and corporates or individuals who wish to support development work in the country thus enabling each organisation to concentrate on its core activity.

Non Government Organisation [NGOs] Importance In developing the society NGOs or Non- governmental organizations made their first appearance in the mid of the nineteenth century, just after the World War II.
