AchieveMents: Major Activities (a) Responding to helpline numbers and reaching with ambulance to give immediate relief and also carry the animal to shelter. (b) Rescue and treatment of all animals including birds at the shelter or to Govt Animal Hospital wherever convenient for the animal. (c) Provide treatment on the street spot if the animal is too large or too injured to be moved from the spot. (d) Organise weekly ABC camps of stray dogs on request from dog loving individual or society as well as dog brought to the shelter for treatment of various ailments, tumor, mange or accident cases. (e) provide anti rabies, 7 in 1, vaccinations to dogs. Major Achievements (a) Effortless service for the social cause recognized by ex MP Dr Murli Manohar Joshi Ji and he very kindly released an ambulance(Four wheeler) for conveyance of sick and injured animals. (b) Jeanne Marching Award awarded Rs 2,00,000/- to ASHA at Jaipur Conference organised by prestigious Federation of India Animal Protection Organization in Nov 2013. (c) Smt Maneka Gandhi ji,the biggest name in India for her contribution towards animal welfare always supports & keeps in touch in relation to animal rescue activity at Varanasi. (d) Now Aashray for Sick and Helpless Animals is recognized by Animal Welfare Board of India vide Recognition Code No UP 444/2016.
