AchieveMents: The Core focus of ACORDASIA is on working towards measurable results / observable indices, outcomes, and sustainability, with pilot-testing & ‘proof-of-concept’ on the ground before scale-up.  Over the 3 decades, ACORDASIA has worked in a wide range of sectors, including Training on Soft Skills and Technical Skills, Health, Sanitation, Gender, Environment, Agriculture, Water, Solid Waste Management, Safety, Poverty Alleviation, Public Participation & Public Awareness Creation (A.V Aids, Mass Comm. Channels including FM-Radio), and Citizen’s Partnership in Governance.  ACORDASIA has provided its Services in Survey Research, Capacity-Building, Model Building, Projects Design, Implementation & Monitoring, etc. to a variety of organisations including the UN organisations, Bilaterals, Corporate Entities, International Foundations, Govt. , Non-For-Profit organisations, e.g. UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, JICA, Planning Commission of India, Govt. of Delhi, Govt. of Rajasthan, NORAD, DANIDA, CIDA, AUSAID, USAID, etc.  Two of ACORDASIA’s prominent projects (i) Poverty Alleviation through the “Empowering Rural Women : Micro-enterprise Through Achievement Motivation” (ii) “Building a Citizens’ Partnership in Democratic Governance” have been documented & published by SAGE as Books in 2012 & 2013 (published in London, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Singapore, and New Delhi).  Due diligence of ACORDASIA has been done by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) – India, for Microsoft.  Empanelled as Implementing Agency with Delhi Minorities Commission.  It has a professional Non-Executive Board, which provides policy and strategy guidelines.  Although a “Not-For-Profit” organisation, ACORDASIA is run in a professional manner, following systems, processes, and professional ethics since 1983 – has worked in 24 states and few countries.  The Core focus of ACORDASIA is on working towards measurable results / observable indices, outcomes, and sustainability, with pilot-testing & ‘proof-of-concept’ on the ground before scale-up.
