Operational Districts: Haora

Operational States: WEST BENGAL

AchieveMents: This organization is a charitable, Non-profit making organization. It runs by donations only.We provide completely free medicine and medical treatment to all the patients suffering from any stage or any form of T.B. We get DOT medicine from District Tuberculosis Centre, Howrah and provide the same to the T.B. patients of the different slum areas of Howrah through our DOT centres. The private doctors for these slum areas sent the patients to our Microscopic Treatment Centre under RNTCP for treatment by the help of our field workers. After categorization we start the DOT medicine of these patients from their nearest DOT centre under the monitoring of our field worker. We give free food, medicine and treatment to the patients without any discrimination of cast, creed and religion. We also give educational help to the children of very poor and needy patients. Our another activity is immunization programme. Six days in a week our immunization team goes different bricks field and slum areas of Howrah district to give vaccines, Vitamin-A capsule, albendazole etc. to the children of the bricks field workers and slum areas.
