AchieveMents: Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust (BSDT) is a public charitable trust, mainly working in the field of healthcare and education. The trust is conducting Ayurved Hospital and Research Center since 1984, where patients of all types of diseases are treated with Ayurvedic medicines in medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics, surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology departments. It has a facility of well-equipped Panchakarma center. The trust is also conducting a unique Integrated Cancer Treatment and Research Center (ICTRC) since 1994. The center is recognized as Center of Excellence by Department of AYUSH and supported by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and Tata Trust. It is affiliated to Indian Cancer Society. The center has its branches at Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Nasik, New Delhi – Gurgaon. Cancer patients of all types are diagnosed and treated in the center with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy along with Ayurvedic treatment in affordable charges. Integrated cancer treatment is effective in improving quality of life, minimizing side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and increasing disease free survival. The center organizes free cancer detection, consultation and awareness camps, exhibitions on cancer, lectures for social awareness. Scientific results about efficacy of Ayurvedic treatment on various types of cancer are presented and published in various national – international conferences, workshops and journals. The trust has a medicinal plantation department where herbs are cultivated using natural manure. Medicines used for patients are prepared in Atharva Nature Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., which is GMP certified and FDA approved pharmacy and a sister concern of BSDT. Cattle breeding and vermin compost projects are also carried out at Wagholi. Ayurved Hospital and Research Center is carrying out various research projects on HIV/AIDS, Delayed Bone Healing, Arthritis, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Mother and Child welfare. The trust is conducting Ayurved College at Wagholi for B.A.M.S., M.D. and Ph.D. in Ayurved since 1998. The trust has published various books on cancer and Ayurved. The trust is conduction English medium primary and secondary school at Tadwal, a remote place of Solapur. The motto of trust is to propagate rich Indian knowledge of 4 Vedas, 6 Shastras, 18 Puranas, 14 Vidyas and 64 Kalas worldwide.
