We trained around 300 to 400 in digital literacy during this period. The training was given to one person per family in the age group of 14 to 60 years. The trainees had to give online exam at Government of India NDLM portal, managed by CSC. They were then given certificates.

The students gave their exams in Government of India portal and they also received certificates from the government.

They come from very poor families and their parents have not gone to school. The students are unable to get study support at home. They thus need guidance for their daily studies. The centre was set up at Muchibajar, near Ultadanga. We also set up a small library, where trainees could upgrade themselves. Till March, we trained almost 400 people in digital litearcy. The students were taught basics of computer and internet, and how to handle the internet on mobile phone and computer. We followed government curriculum for the project,

Change Initiatives will mentor around 25 women studying in Kolkata colleges. Mentoring is in leadership, self awareness, career path and resilience. Programme supported by American Centre, Kolkata. AchieveMents: Our major activities are in digital literacy, after-school education support, promoting ICT-based enterprises for women and raising environment awareness. Our main achievement is in community mobilisation for Government of India National Digital Literacy Mission project. In both the phases of NDLM, we had crossed the targets for digital literacy much ahead of time and have been awarded for our efforts.
