AchieveMents: Curtain Call, a new introduction in the theatre fraternity of Kolkata, believes in making and production of good theatre for the people and for the society through the continuous theatre learning process. In the process of achieving desired objective, we cannot deny the need for undergoing in depth theoretical and practical training in the field of every discipline of theatre. The organization, established by a bunch of theatre workers having an all round experience and exposure to the field, has designed its plan to produce all types of theatre in different format like proscenium and intimate theatre. Apart from production of theatre, Curtain Call has the objective of holding of seminars, debates, discussions, symposiums, lectures, talk-sessions on the subject related to drama and allied activities, to conduct theatre workshop under the supervision & instruction of learned personalities from national & international level engaged in the field of drama and its allied areas with the participation from the group and outside theatre activists, to organise theatre training programme for the children, to hold theatre festival including children theatre festival at Kolkata, in the state of West Bengal or elsewhere. Curtain Call is also intend to carry out research oriented activities in the field of drama and its allied activities and to construct a studio theatre for production and exhibition of in-house theatre throughout the year.
