AchieveMents: Brief history of the Institute:
Palli Sree Ram Memorial Society is a Training & Educational Society for mainly needy students. We are working to import and development social awareness among the less educated youth by organizing awareness camps from time to time .Society founded in Feb 2013 with it has its headquarters located at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The Society has been set up by some successful educationalists of India with a purpose to make it one of the most unique Training and Education Facilitator in India.
The objective has been to provide youths with quality education and equipping them with unique skills to enable them to give themselves a head start in the job market mainly. At the same time, help industry to deliver internationally competitive performance by having access to locally available, internationally benchmarked, skilled manpower trained in line with their requirements.
Palli Sree Memorial Society is the partner of Disha Academy .Where Disha Academy is an empanelled training organization by PBSSD. Disha Academy is taking care of vocational training part of Palli Sree Memorial Society.
Achievements Of Palli Sree Ram Memorial Society
Palli Sree Memorial Society is working as a partner of Disha Academy, Disha Academy is enlisted at Paschim Banga Society For Skill Development At Palli Sree Ram Memorial Society our approach to vocational training and women empowerment is path breaking. We do not provide students what they need, instead our approach has been to identify market requirement and structure our curriculum to transfer those skills to our students. For us Vocational training is incomplete without jobs. Hence every focus in our vocational training initiative is JOBS. At the name of Disha Academy(Palli Sree Memorial Society ) have given training in 18 Govt Schools and Colleges and trained almost 1200 Students and among them 854 students have already placed in different Companies. We have taken workshop for Visva Bharati Faculties for written and Verbal Communication We have a unique process wherein we have identified the KRAs of the work that a 1 year experienced resource would do on finding a good job. These KRAs(Key Result Area) have been designed in content form and students are trained to perform these activities in a LIVE WORKING ENVIRONMENT projects Student is also prepared for first hour productivity and interview readiness. This is a high demand career program.
We are organizing different awareness camps for women empowerment, distribution of cloth and food to the distress women.
Palli Sree Memorial Society is identifying society needs and try to work on that.
Ongoing projects
We are running two projects at the moment in the name of Disha Academy, First one is from West Bengal Scheduled caste and schedule tribe & Finance and Corporation, we are providing tailoring and master tailoring MES Course to 100 SC & ST youth. Second one is from Social Directorate of women and child welfare west bengal, we are training and preparing 42 women inmates in Bedside assistant MES course at Vidya Sagar Balika Bhavan, Paschim Medinipur.
