AchieveMents: DOT ARMY WIVES WELFARE ASSOCIATION (ASHA SCHOOL HISAR) FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED CHILDREN WAS ESTABLISHED ON 10 MAY 1993. Achievements are as under (a) Conduct of National Football Meet. Special Olympics Bharat, Haryana conducted National Football Championship for Intellectually Disabled Children at Asha School, Hisar Mil Stn from 29 Sep to 03 Oct 13. Being a National event, a total of 23 states participated, which included 23 male & 13 female teams. Besides the team coaches which were part of the respective state teams, a total of 23 central coaches/ volunteers attended the event (b) Miss Sonam, a student of Primary Class Gold Medal in the National Bocce Championship, which was held from 17 to 21 July 14 at Patna (Bihar). (c) Two children participated in the National Painting Competition at Bal Bhawan, Hisar on 30 August 14, which was conducted by Haryana State Council of Child Welfare. Details of which are as under :- (aa) Miss Swati 1st Position (5-10 Years)
(ab) Master Tanuj 3rd Position (d) Nine children of Asha School participated in the National Painting Competition at Bal Bhawan, Hisar on 22 August 15, which was conducted by Haryana State Council of Child Welfare. Under mentioned Children bagged the 1st posn, in different cat :-(aa) Miss Namita
(ab) Miss Priyanka
(ac) Master Tanuj
(ad) Master Yash
(e) Six children of Asha School participated in state level Spl Olympics Bharat Competitions held at Rohtak with effect from 16 Jan 2016 to 24 Jan 2016.Three children have nominated for National. Details are under :-
(a) Master Kapil, S/o Mr Dalip Singh. (b) Master Sanjay, S/o Mr Mal Singh.
(c) Master Lalit, S/o Mr Jai Prakash.
(d) Master Kapil is likely to be nominated for World Winter Games 2017 to be held in Austria. (f) Five children of the school participated in Sate Floor Ball Championship. Two children were nominated for National Games which were held in Bilaspur from 02 Feb to 07 Feb 16. Names of children is as under :-(a) Master Lalit, S/o Mr Jai Prakash.
(b) Master Sanjay (Res), S/o Mr Mal Singh
(h) Master Lalit S/o Sh Jai Prakash attended the camp for volleyball on 23 Jul 16 at Rohtak and has been nominated for National Championship. (j) Two students of Asha School participated in National Championship softball held at kalinga stadium, Bhubaneswar (Odisa) wef 24 Sep to 28 Sep 16 and got 3rd posn.
