AchieveMents: PHCP has reintroduced more than hundred captive bred hogs at three sites in Assam and continues to promote scientific management of grassland habitat. The Assam Haathi Project has helped in reduction of human elephant conflict with community based interventions in five districts of Assam through use of such chilli deterrents solar power fencing capacity building and strengthening of livelihoods in the affected communities. EBP has promoted community based ecotourism.
