The FARMER organization has successfully implemented 3 projects funded by DST & DBT;
1. Appropriate Biotechnologies Communication and Diffusion (ABCD) with special reference to biological agents (bio fertilizers & bio-pesticides) for Rural Development ââ¬â Phase I.(DBT)
2. Appropriate Biotechnologies Communication and Diffusion (ABCD) with special reference to biological agents (bio fertilizers & bio-pesticides) for Rural Development ââ¬â Phase II. (DBT)
3. Demonstration of effective & affordable biological agents (EPN and other bio-agents) for management of white grub menace on sugarcane crop in western UP. (DST) ââ¬â Implemented in collaboration with Nematology Division, Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI)
The FARMER organization is implementing 2 ongoing project funded by DST and ICAR;
1. All India Network Project on Soil Arthropods. (ICAR)
2. Development and scale up of technology for in vitro (fermentation) and in vivo production of Entomopathogenic Nematodes (EPN) and comparative studies of efficacy of local strains of EPN and other bio-agents including training and demonstrations programmes. (DST) ââ¬â To be implemented in collaboration with National Institute of Immunology (NII) and Nematology Division, Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI)
The FARMER organization has organized national seminars on; Management of White Grub on Sugarcane & other Crops and Quality Control of Agriculture Inputs-Role of advanced technologies and appropriate legal framework.
The FARMER organization has good linkages with the farmers and has provided services to 6397 farmers beneficiaries by way of training, awareness, quality testing of agriculture inputs, demonstrations and organic certification.
The FARMER organization published 7 Research Abstracts, 5 Research Papers, 3 Books and developed one Technology Manual.
The FARMER organization has been participating in Kisaan Melas, Gosthies and Seminars organized by SAU, KVK, NCOF, State Department of Agriculture and Horticulture by way of having stalls, distributing technical material, delivering lecture.
